Course Title: Social Entrepreneurship in Higher Education
Video Title: New Horizons
This media project required a group effort in proposing a solution for students in poverty that are challenged with pathways to college. My role in this project was producing a fast pitch video that shared the ideas of my colleagues within the group regarding the pathways to college for students in poverty. I chose to use the software Pow Toons and though it was challenging it was definitely a learning experience.
This media project is called New Horizons. New Horizons is designed to help bring the gap between high school and college preparing students for what to expect during their higher education experience. This video discuss the major challenges and benefits that students endure in transitioning from high school to college.
Course Title: Tech Fluency and Leadership
Video Title: Module 3 Discussion Questions
This media project required me to analyze the problems and solutions in the workplace, problems and solutions in school, and technology to solve problems in our personal lives. My role for this project was to response to each article with comments, observations, questions and explain how the source relates to me personally. For this project I had the luxury of using my laptop to record the main points in this discussion that I found interesting.
This media project is called Module 3 Discussion Questions. The module 3 discussion questions focused on the root of the problem, know your target audience is, and discovering a long term solution. This video points out the different steps needed to analyze a problem and finding the best technology solution for that problem.
